GALLERY MANAGER

Atelier001 is seeking an experienced Gallery Manager with a wonderful personality. The suitable candidate will have solid experience in a gallery of a comparable nature, and knowledge of the design/art-design collectible market and its clientele. Atelier001 has a lovely dedicated team and is seeking a candidate ready to seamlessly join in, benefit from a vibrant group of people and celebrate its recent venture into a new chapter with our gallery space.

The ideal candidate is experienced in selling high-end designs or artworks, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, bringing passion and joy to our lovely space in Notting Hill. An established contact book of a suitable target audience is desired.

This role is a full-time position, on site, Tuesday-Friday 9-6 and Saturday 10-4; on occasion, the Gallery manager will prepare and host events outside of hours. The Gallery is based on Golborne Road, Notting Hill, London W10

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Present Atelier001 professionally and elegantly, in person and in all communication
  • Proactively generate new business and foot traffic to the gallery in person and through outreach
  • Provide exceptional recording and follow-up on client contacts and enquiries
  • Process sales in person as well as compose and send quotations to prospective and new clients
  • Maintain meticulous records of client details, quotes, invoices and orders
  • Display a thorough understanding of Atelier001’s lighting pieces and commission pieces
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage client’s needs in all communication from initial enquiries to delivery
  • Represent Atelier001 at events, fairs, and exhibitions, this may involve international travel
  • Conduct outreach to potential clients and extend invitations to the gallery
  • Ensure the gallery is always in pristine condition for clients
  • Form and maintain relationships with the local community and related businesses

Knowledge/experience:

  • Extensive experience in sales of art, design-art or high value vintage furniture
  • Strong organisational and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word; knowledge of InDesign
  • Minimum of 5 years in a comparative role
  • A good understanding of the design-collectible market, high-end interiors and related networks
  • Passion for working in a small company with a big-picture perspective
  • Friendly, patient, dependable, and responsible personality with excellent time management skills
  • Able to work independently and complete assignments with minimal direction
  • Flexibility, hands-on approach, and passion for design and humour!

DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

Atelier001 is seeking a Digital Manager with strong visual skills to join its team in London. Atelier001 presents a collection of luxury lighting and furniture. The collection is for a high-end audience and distributed internationally. The suitable candidate must be pro-active, self-motivated, digitally outstanding and efficient at admin. Native English speakers are preferred.

We are looking for an individual, who is meticulous and passionate about visual presentation and imagery. A knowledge and awareness of the Art & Design realm is essential.

Knowledge/experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Solid knowledge of social media platforms
  • Excellent layout and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of content management CMS (WordPress, Shopify)
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Interest and eye for design objects and their presentation
  • Content writing skills for blog and social media posts

Candidate must have:

  • 3+ years experience in social media mangement or similar

SENIOR SALES ASSOCIATE

Atelier001 is currently looking for an experienced, highly motivated senior sales associate to join its team in London. This role is a full-time position, candidates are expected to bring along extensive experience and contacts in the lighting/ design industry. Atelier has a dedicated lovely team and is looking for energetic, passionate and proactive person to join. This is a unique opportunity to participate in the next chapter of this exciting brand.

Atelier001 curates a collection of luxury lighting and objects, a young, yet fast growing company. The designs are high-end, distributed internationally and curated by illumination artist Eva Menz. A suitable sales associate is a highly connected, proactive, self-motivated person, with native spoken and written English.

The ideal candidate is experienced in selling high-end lighting, providing an outstanding service and communication and being excited about the subject at hand. An established contact book of contract clients and high end connections is paramount.

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Represent Atelier001 in a professional and elegant manner.
  • Help the brand grow by reaching proactively generation new business and sales.
  • Exceptional follow up on client enquiries in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
  • Manage sales and orders communication with passion, elegance and professional knowledge.
  • Outstanding management of record keeping in terms of clients, orders and bookkeeping.
  • Demonstrate a passion for and great understanding of Atelier001 lighting pieces and brand values.
  • Uphold Atelier001’s customer service principles in all communications and decisions.
  • Manage clients accounts and sales orders from enquiry, to follow up, to order confirmation, to shipment tracking, delivery and aftercare. Proactively communicating order status updates with clients at key points throughout the process.
  • Prepare and attend weekly production meetings with the Production Manager and Director. Update Order Schedule and ensure timely shipping to clients.
  • Proactively identify order delays and liaise with Production Manager or relevant internal departments to receive realistic updates to relay to clients well in advance of target dispatch dates.
  • Experience and great ability to represent collection and brand at events, fairs, exhibitions

Knowledge/experience:

  • Outstanding admin, customer service and organisational skills.
  • Excellent English spoken and written, excellent phone manner.
  • Superb skills in excel and word to produce lists and reports efficiently.
  • Good knowledge level of Photoshop and Indesign to create and adjust client presentations etc.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Atelier001 is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Operations Manager to join its team in London. Candidates are expected to have extensive experience in comparable manufacturing and the luxury furniture/lighting industry. The key focus of this role is to act as the connection point between the sales team and external suppliers, manage their workflow, and facilitate the effective delivery of orders. The role requires experience, confidence, and close cost monitoring in collaboration with our external finance team.

While we operate as a small team, we collaborate with many outside service and product providers. We require a kind, effective, and highly organized individual to lead all parties to the successful and consistent delivery of luxury products.

A minimum of five years of experience in a comparable role is essential, and knowledge of the lighting industry is desired. The candidate will be working out of our design and sampling studio. A passion for and knowledge of manufacturing and its processes is essential. This is a full-time, on-site role in London, W10. Working hours are 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional duties outside of regular hours for events and exhibitions.

Knowledge/experience:

  • Understanding of luxury products and its clientele
  • Understanding of the design, collectible or high-end furniture realm
  • Knowledgeable about manufacturing processes and exceptional finishing
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Extensive logistics experience for simultaneous orders, shipping and time-sensitive deliveries
  • Superb skills in Excel and Word to producing reports and schedules
  • Budget management experience, competent in management of cost reporting
  • Willingness to always promote and volunteer continued operational improvements
